Create A Cool Webcam Effect For Your Video Sets

David Barese, founder and one of the developers of JammText and KueIt software, demonstrates how to create a simple webcam x-ray effect using Apple’s Quartz Composer to use in your video DJ sets. This example shows how you can integrate effects through audio input.

Tools needed:

  • Mac
  • Quartz Composer (need to download XCode dev tools Download XCode)
  • Webcam (Logictech Pro 920 or 930 works lovely)
  • Video DJ software that supports Quartz Composition (qtz files) i.e. MixEmergency
