Everyone Took Photos. Nobody Collected Them.

Event photo sharing screens at a party displaying a QR code guests scan for event photo sharing

Every guest has a camera in their pocket.

Over four hours, they capture hundreds of pictures from every corner of the event: the table losing it over something nobody else caught, the grandmother who danced for exactly one song, and the bathroom-mirror group picture at 11:40.

The photos are already being taken. The problem is that nobody is collecting them.

Give every guest one shared place to add their photos, and those scattered moments become a fuller picture of the night.

That’s the opportunity for DJs: turning something guests already do into an experience you can add to the event.

Your guests are already taking pictures

Guests capture the moments one camera misses.

Meanwhile, the photographer gets the formals, the first dance, and the exit. That makes for a great gallery, but it’s still only one point of view from a night filled with them.

The other angles are already being captured. They just have nowhere to go.

Without a shared gallery, those pictures disappear

A few photos get posted. Others get texted to whoever happens to be in the frame.

Some land in a group chat that’s dead by Tuesday. The rest sit on a phone next to screenshots of parking receipts.

Hashtags used to catch some of those photos. That’s harder now. Stories disappear, plenty of accounts are private, and nobody is searching an event hashtag two weeks later to see what turned up.

As a result, hundreds of pictures from one great night can end up scattered across phones that never talk to each other.

The host notices what’s missing afterward

Once the event is over, the photos are still scattered across everyone’s phones.

Then the messages start:

“Send me the one you took of us.”

That’s when the host realizes that hundreds of pictures were taken, but nobody brought them together.

Photographers and booth vendors already handle the pictures they take. But as the DJ, you already have a microphone, everyone’s attention, and a natural way to invite the entire room to participate.

If you can solve a problem the host hasn’t encountered yet without another booth, attendant, or complicated setup, that’s about as easy as add-ons get.

One QR code brings everything together

A guest scans a QR code, takes a photo, and sends it to the event.

No app to download or login for guests. No standing at the bar creating an account while somebody waits behind them for a drink.

That’s what we built Ribalta for.

You can print the QR code on posters or table cards, display it at the event, or send the event link before the doors open.

However guests join, everything lands in one shared gallery. They can view, download, and share photos throughout the event, and the host still has access long after the night is over.

If you want to make those photos part of the live entertainment, Ribalta also includes an optional media wall. Photos and guest messages can appear on screens around the room as they’re posted.

Guests can send birthday shout-outs, congratulations, and other messages too.

That’s where the optional media wall turns the shared gallery into an interactive part of the entertainment.

There’s a mini photoshoot mode too. Guests tap, pose, and take four quick pictures.

Ribalta turns them into an animated sequence and a GIF they can keep alongside the other photos in the shared gallery.

Get the room involved

Ribalta makes contributing easy. The DJ’s job is simply to make sure guests know the gallery exists.

Put the QR code where guests will see it

Display it near the entrance, at the bar, or on table cards. Include it in any welcome signage, and send the event link ahead of time if the host communicates with guests before the event.

If you’re using the optional media wall, the QR code can appear on the screens too.

The easier the code is to find throughout the room, the more opportunities guests have to join in.

Mention it when people are paying attention

One announcement during dinner isn’t enough if half the room is standing at the buffet.

Mention the gallery before the first dance, after the toast, or when the dance floor opens. A quick reminder at the right moment can bring in an entirely new group of photos.

Put it on the quote

You’ve added a photo experience without another booth rental, another attendant, or more floor space.

Give it a name, include it in the proposal, and show the host what guests will see.

If you only mention it casually during a sales call, it sounds like a free extra. If it appears on the quote, it becomes part of the experience you’re selling.

Your guests take your content too

For DJs, event photo sharing also creates something useful after the gig: pictures taken from inside the crowd.

The next morning, pull a few strong shots, tag the venue, and post them.

Now you have content from the night without hiring a second photographer or propping a phone on a speaker.

Try it free for a month

Signing up is free and takes about a minute.

Use code TRYRIBALTA and your first month on a Pro plan is free.

Pro adds photo uploads, event branding, a customizable display, an ad-free guest experience, and 24/7 support for the 11 p.m. Saturday stuff.

That’s the version you can package as a client add-on and test across the gigs you already have booked for the next 30 days.

A free tier is available too, so you can create an account and learn the workflow before using Pro at a paid event.

If an event gets bigger than expected, you can upgrade while it’s happening.

Before packaging Ribalta as a wedding add-on, run it at a bar gig or birthday.

Share the QR code, mention it a couple of times, and watch how many people contribute to the gallery. If you’re using the optional media wall, the QR code on the screens allows another way for guests to join.

That number will tell you more about how to present and price the service than guessing from your desk ever will.

Set up the account, enter TRYRIBALTA, and take the month.

The photographers are already in the room.

This is just the part where all their photos finally end up in one place.
